Mirror Teardrop – Swamp Kauri large 730 mm X 300 mm

This timber was milled in Kaihu, Dargaville. The Alaskin mill was carried into the bush on a quad bike and the slabs were carried out the same way. This kauri was semi-submerged and dug up to be milled. No screws or nails were used to make this mirror. The Finish is Californian Orange Oil,  sealed with Teak Wax.

 This large Kauri tear Drop mirror is a one off hand crafted NZ made  mirror  & is another piece of functional art made in Paul's artisan workshop in Waipu,  Northland
