Mirror Head log Kauri 580mm X 280mm to centre

This timber was milled in Kaihu Dargaville, The Alaskin Mill  was carried in on Quad bike and the slabs were carried out the same way. This kauri was semi-submerged and dug up to be milled. No screws or nails  were used to make this mirror.   Its finished with Californian Orange Oil and sealed with Teak Wax.

 This  head log Kauri  artisan piece is  a one off hand crafted NZ made  mirror  & is another piece of functional art made in Paul's artisan workshop in Waipu,  Northland
