Stool Black Wattyl stool with Totara legs 320 diameter top X 390 tall

 This Black Wattyl stool was made from slabs on a property that i purchased.  There  was some small slabs  of Black Wattyl left in an old shed .

This is a very interesting timber with very pretty colours Matched with the totara legs it makes for a very hard wearing durable stool

The legs are made from Totara saplings  that grow  wild from seeds, these are  continually dropping on to dairy pasture  & sprouting .  Without controlled thinning these saplings would take over any dairy pasture.

There are no screws or nails used in the crafting of this furniture all joints are mortise & tenon.
