Stool Black Wattyl Short stool 200 x 250 X 330 tall

Although this stool/table is very small,  it is very attractive &  eclectic

 This Black Wattyl stool was made from slabs on a property that i purchased.  There  was some small slabs  of Black Wattyl left in an old shed .

This is a very interesting timber with very pretty colours,  Matched with the totara legs it makes for a very hard wearing durable stool.

The legs are made from Totara saplings  that grow  wild from seeds  continually dropping on to dairy pasture from adjacent bush & sprouting .  Without controlled thinning these saplings would take over the dairy pasture.

This one off hand crafted NZ made stool is another piece of functional art made in Pauls artisan workshop in Waipu,  Northland
