Bench Bed End Macrocarpa Top & Steel legs.....Top 1060 long x 350 wide X 480 tall

This Macrocarpa  bed end bench,  has steel legs .  It has multiple uses from a piece of bedroom furniture to extra seating in the kitchen, dinning or lounge room.

The seat was milled at Puhipuhi, Northland ,from trees grown as dairy shelterbelts . Some trees were up to 2.5m diameter.  The trees were slowly removed from most dairy farms as the  foliage could cause the cows to abort there calves in calving season. The legs are made from steel to give the stool an effective steel & wood look which is ultra modern with live edge furniture .  Screws were used to secure the  steel legs to the stool . The top is finished with orange oil and teak wax.

This one off hand crafted NZ made stool is another piece of functional art made in Pauls artisan workshop in Waipu,  Northland
