Mirror Hanging Shelf Mirror – Macrocarpa 470 mm X 500 mm

This  original sculptural piece was milled from Macrocarpa trees grown as dairy shelter belts at Puhi Puhi, Northland .The trees were removed after Macrocarpa foliage was found to cause cows to abort their calves. Some of the trees were 2.5m in diameter. All lumber was milled with an Alaskan mill. No screws or nails  were used in the crafting of this mirror. This hand crafted mirror was finished with Californian Orange Oil and sealed with Teak Wax.
