Candelarbra Macrocarpa & Totara 1400mmm tall 650mm long

THIS CANDELABRA IS BUILT TO ORDER

This Candelarbra is built with a  Macrocarpa  base  & the main support & arms are from  Totara Saplings   1400mmm tall  650mm long

This piece has hand beaten copper  dishes  with a spike for the candles to mount on.

There are no screws or nails used in the crafting of this piece of functional art, all joints are mortise & tenon.

The main candelarbra is made from Totara saplings  that grow  wild from seeds  continually dropping on to dairy pasture from adjacent bush & sprouting .  Without controlled thinning these saplings would take over the dairy pasture. The base or main support is  milled from Macrocarpa.
